So, I'm a casual player and it makes me maybe 1-2 weeks to earn 1 million c-bills. I've slowly been grinding away on Hellbringers and had 10 million for my 3rd. Then tonight, by accident, I loaded a seismic sensor module on something. I thought I had removed it from the previous mech I had used, but nope... 6 million c-bills gone in a flash without any warning. What do I have to show for it? An extra seismic sensor and another month of grinding to get back enough c-bills to get that 3rd Hellbringer.

Anyway, it really sucks. I hope others take heed and be really careful around modules because if you are not careful, your hard earned c-bills will get wiped out in an instant, with no warning or recourse.

PGI, please consider adding one of those "Are you sure you want to purchase this" warnings for modules. They are really expensive for casual players.

Thanks.

If there was such a warning, there would be 10 rage threads in these forums about having to click one extra time.

You should contact support. They are fairly understanding about such things and can probably refund the cbills as a one-time "I messed up!" thing.

A million in 2 weeks means you earn like 70k a day. There's a difference between causal and comatose.

On the plus side, that's probably the best way to accidentally spend 6 million cbills.

My kids come first, MWO comes second. I play 1-2 nights a week for 5-6 matches. I actually see sunlight too, and ride bikes, go fishing, real-life people stuff :D

There IS a warning.

Bottom left shows a total for the transaction, THENNNNNNNN you get the 'ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?" cue at the end.

Yeah was gonna say....

Whenever you do stuff in mechlab that costs $$$, it warns you when you click save that your changes are about to cost you so much cbill/mc.

Have they changed this for the new mechlab?

It is not a waste, you got a seismic module which is a great module.. one that I have equipped on most of my active 'mechs. Once you have learnt how to use it, you start recovering your investment pretty quickly.

Wouldn't be as much of an issue if modules weren't ass reaming expensive.

But he is right. I played two games Tuesday. and made 160K. I suck in lights and only made 30K in that drop.

I dropped twice Wednesday and made 400,000 in a non-hero light mech.
I might be better in lights than I first thought...

But yeah, there is an 'are you sure' screen whenever you buy a thing.

Yeah, Comatose just plays video games all the time and has no life outside. We understand.
